Who is Rob Pasbani?

I am a seasoned professional with two decades of experience in front of the camera and behind the scenes, with a deep connection to the music and pro wrestling industries.

I am known for my unique, laid-back, conversational interview style. In my 20 years of experience, I have interviewed Metallica, Ice-T, Slayer, Megadeth, Judas Priest, Rammstein, GWAR, and others. On the pro wrestling end, I have interviewed stars like "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, Mick Foley, Goldberg, Seth Rollins, Kurt Angle and more.

A Brooklyn native, I have twenty years of writing experience in pro wrestling and heavy metal music. My work has been cited and referenced by outlets like Rolling Stone, MTV News, Vice, The Hollywood Reporter, and Billboard Magazine.

As the creator, co-founder, and editor-in-chief of Metal Injection, I led a pioneering heavy metal website for 18 years, successfully growing the site to one of the top three hard rock and metal publications in North America. I oversaw diverse responsibilities such as daily news updates, video and podcast hosting, and artist marketing decks, while simultaneously building the top hard rock advertising network, Blast Beat Network, overseeing all technical duties for the operation. I organically grew a social media audience to over 1.5 million fans (with no marketing budgets) and generated millions in revenue through the media property and ad network.

Having exited Metal Injection in 2022, now operated by Sony Music Entertainment, I am now seeking the next great challenge. I am currently the host of the Squared Circle Pit podcast. I also have been practicing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for the last year and am currently a four-stripe white belt.
